Privacy policy

This policy covers every Shopify app published by Developly (“our apps”). Developly is a Shopify studio; our apps are used by stores that work with us. What each app stores is listed under “Apps covered” below.

What our apps do not store

Our apps do not store customer data. They do not request access to a store’s customers or orders, and they do not read, copy or keep the names, emails, addresses or orders of a store’s customers. They set no tracking cookies on the storefront.

How the data is used

Only to run the app for the store that installed it. The data is not sold, shared for advertising, or used for any other purpose.

Where the data is kept

Our apps run on Fly.io servers in Paris, France. Files an app publishes to a storefront are stored with Tigris, Fly.io’s storage service. Shopify processes store data under its own privacy policy.

How long it is kept

While the app is installed. When a store uninstalls an app, Shopify asks the app to erase that store’s data (about 48 hours later), and the app then deletes the store’s record, the files it published and its settings.

Your requests

To ask what an app holds about your store, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email contact@developly.me. Uninstalling the app also triggers deletion as described above.

Terms of use

These terms cover every Shopify app published by Developly.

Who our apps are for

Our apps are for stores that work with Developly. The work Developly does for a store is governed by the agreement between that store and Developly; these terms only cover the apps themselves.

Price

Unless an app’s Shopify App Store listing says otherwise, our apps are free to install and use. Developly’s services are billed separately, under the store’s agreement with Developly.

Your control

You can uninstall any of our apps at any time. Uninstalling removes what the app added to your store’s checkout and storefront.

Availability

We work to keep our apps running, but do not guarantee they will be available without interruption. If something an app published causes a problem on your store, pause or uninstall the app and contact us.

Developly

Connects a store to Developly with a code Developly provides, so Developly can add storefront code, discounts and bundles to the store. The app’s page in the Shopify admin shows what is active, and one switch pauses everything the app does.

The app stores:

  • the store’s myshopify domain and the dates it installed, linked and uninstalled the app;
  • the access token Shopify issues to the app, so it can act on the store;
  • which Developly client the store is linked to, and the connection code used to link it (stored as a hash);
  • what Developly publishes on the store through the app: storefront code (JavaScript, CSS, HTML), discount settings, bundle settings and custom function settings, with their version history;
  • whether the app is paused on the store, and by whom;
  • a log of the actions taken on the store through the app (for example “code published” or “app paused”), with the time and who took them.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
